• WSDOT Field Guide for Accessible Public Rights of Way
  This field guide has been developed by WSDOT, in collaboration with FHWA, as a reference to be used by professionals when evaluating accessible pedestrian features in the Public Rights-of-Way. It reflects the Public Right of Way Accessible Guidelines (PROWAG) developed by the US Access Board.

• Accessible Sidewalks is a four-part video developed by the Board to illustrate issues and considerations in the design of sidewalks. The series covers access for pedestrians with mobility impairments, including those who use wheelchairs, and pedestrians who are blind or have low vision.

WSDOT developed Standard Plans to comply with state and federal ADA laws. These standards deal with pedestrian facilities, such as curb cuts and driveways. The Design Manual has been updated to reflect the current laws.
