Report Fraud and Abuse in the DBE Program

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has established a Fraud and Abuse Hotline for employees, contractors, consultants, and others to report suspected fraud or abuse in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. Concerns that should be reported include but are not limited to:

• contract fraud
• unapproved substitutions of DBEs
• kickbacks
• wrongful claims
• failure to follow contract procedures, including sharing of equipment and employees

Anyone with knowledge of any activity involving the potential for fraud or abuse is encouraged to call the Hotline at (toll free) 877-856-3770.
